If you have a webcam you have much more than just a video chat device. With it you can set up a complete surveillance system using Move Action.

This program makes use of your PC's webcam to detect any type of movement, at which time it carries out some of the actions it is capable of doing: take a photograph and send it to you automatically via e-mail or FTP, start the execution of a program, emit sounds and even prevent the use of the computer, specifying the introduction of the security term that you have previously defined to unblock it.

Move Action also compares two photos taken and analyzes them in order to find any changes, a process by which it automatically monitors the room in question.
